Go Habs go!!!

Daddy has been having a good week! It was his birfday and I made him this bowl (Mommy helped me a bit). My sista is giving it a good sniff!



But then his favorite hockeys team the Montreal Canadiens beat another team last week so that now they are playing against Pittsburg! Wherever that is! I don't cares too much about the hockeys but my daddy sure loves it a lot and he sure loves his Canadiens almost as much as me!!! Because Daddy loves the Canadiens so much we want them to win so me and my sista are sending good pug luck the Canadiens!!!!

Gifties!

We got the nicest surprise! As a thank you to Daisy sending our friend Brigitte the sweater Mommy made for her, Brigitte and her Mom sent us a super-duper, pugalicious box. Do you see our names? And the name of our blog? How pawesome is that?!!!

We had to check it out thoroughly, then Daisy just decided to lie next to our beautiful new box and groom.

Speaking of grooming, our friends also sent us some that fantastic dog soap they use! Though it smells yummy, we're afraid this means we're going to have to baths soon - but we think this soap is going to change our minds about baths!

Pearl & Daisy SOAP?!!!!

Our friends Wilma, Sluggo and Brigitte were just blogging about bath day and it made us think about baths and how much we hate them. Here is the evidence:




See how unhappy we are? Yeah, it's a tough pug life especially when we have to be put in in sink, covered with soap and then soaked with water.

So you'll never believe what we learned!!!!! A nice lady named Rebecca in Nova Scotia (which means she's Canadian like Mommy and Daddy) has a natural soap company called...drum roll please!!!!...Pearl & Daisy Natural Soap Company. Look! The soap even has our names on it!



Isn't that awesome? But Rebecca's Pearl & Daisy aren't the same as Mommy's Pearl & Daisy (us!). They are her great-grandmother and aunt.



Even though they look nothing like us, they are very beautiful.

Well, after learning about all this, Mommy says she needs to buy some Pearl and Daisy soap which is great and all that. We just hope she doesn't get any ideas about using it on US!!!!

Early Recycled St. Paddy's Day Greeting

Mommy is a big lazy bones and so instead of making us a brand NEW St. Patrick's day greeting for tomorrow, she's recycling an old one she made a couple of years ago. Sheesh. If we had thumbs we'd make our own...but then if we had thumbs we'd opening the cupboard and eating all the kibble so we probably wouldn't have time to make any e-greetings!!!

Flowers and pokey plants

It's spring! It's wet! Our dog group is marching in the St. Patty's day parade today but we don't march or do rain so we're at home snuggling.

Last weekend, Mommy and Daddy went to see some flowers and pokey plants at Sonnenburg Gardens & Mansion . Mommy got some new close up lenses for her camera so she took a lot of pictures. We don't really care about flowers unless we can eat them but Mommy had fun.













Mommy loved the flowers so much and couldn't wait for spring to put some in our yard so she bought a little batch and brought them home. We checked them out but Mommy wouldn't let us eat them. Rats.
