My bff Baby and other doggie newsies

Pearl here!

Thank you to all my friends for the wonderful birthday wishes! I had a very good birthday - though I could have used a few more cookies (but then I always can!).

My bff, Baby, had a TERRIBLE weekend though. She had to go to the SPA to get prettified. I've never been to the spa but Baby is a Pekingese (Mommy had to look up how to spell that word!) and she needs her fur brushed and fluffed. But all of the torture was worth it because she turned out looking BEE-YOO-TEE-FUL. She even had her picture taken and then the picture was posted on Facebook (we prefer Dogbook but whatever). And here she is!

Pretty cute, eh?

In other doggie news, the band called OK Go (which confuses us. Where are they going? To the dog park? To the vets? And when are they going? Now? Tomorrow?) has a new video out. Even though there aren't any puggies in the video, we think it's pretty funny and great:

Happy birthday Pearl!

Today is Pearl's 11th birthday! To celebrate, over the next few weeks we will post some old diary entries from when she was a puppy (and from her old web page).

But for today I just want to say that words cannot express how much I love this little puggie. Each day she continues to bring me so much happiness and fill my life with a love that I never imagined before getting her.

So thank you Pearly! Your mommy loves you very much!!!!!

Cleaning up our act

Daisy here!

Mommy meant to do this post months ago but summer was sooooo busy that she kept running out of time. But we're excited to tell our story today!

Back in the spring a very nice lady at Seventh Generation cleaning stuffs sent us a box! Me and my sister were so excited, asking, "What is this Mom?"

I wanted to lick our presies because I wuv to lick everything! But big sister told me not to.

Even though licking wouldn't hurt me, the cleaning stuffs probably wouldn't tastes too good. When Pearl was a puppy she used to follow Mommy into the bathroom on cleaning days and she would try to lick the shower stall or floor or whatever else Mommy had cleaned. Mommy was worried because she didn't want Pearl getting sick so she bought some Seventh Generation bathroom cleaner. Then if Pearl licked up after cleaning, it wouldn't be toxic or dangerous.

So when the lady at Seventh Generation sent us all this stuff, we couldn't have been happier! Mommy has been using the stuff all summer. She especially loves the lemony-thyme smell of everything and the nice fresh wipes. Mommy also loves that they are all safe for doggies and for peoples, too!

Big sister says these are puggie approved products that she can stand behind! (or...um...at least sit!)

Thank you Seventh Generation for keeping us clean and safe!
