As you can see, my life is pretty terribles. A couple of weeks ago when my brother and I were playing, my corny-ah got scratched. I've been taking medicines and drops and have to wear the stupid cone. I had a follow up appointment with my doctor on Fridays and my eye isn't healing so well so I needs to go to the special eye doctor.

I also gots PTEPD - Post Traumatic Eye Poke Disorder which means that my life is just extra terribles.

And on top of it, I didn't get a single piece of Halloween candy.

I like to play. And romp and run. And then play some more. In between, I like to have my nummy nums or treats. And then I get right back to playing!

So my life totally sucks. Just as I was getting used to being an only child, Mommy went and brought this little creep home. They call him "Finnegan" but I call him LJ for Little Jerk.

He probably looks so happy in the photo because he just got finished biting my bum. That's what he does and I don't like it. So we're trying to teach him not to but boy he is stubborn!

Mommy says I was just like him when I was a puppy but I am sure that is a load of lies. I was a perfect puppy. Always doing what my Mommy asked and never bugging Pearl.

He thinks he's pretty special, too, posing for the camera whenever Mommy gets it out. Sheesh. Doesn't he know she takes like a bazillion and you don't need to pose?

Sweet Pearl

It's the pug mama, Sue, here. It's been quite awhile since I've updated the blog. Partly because I was very busy with work and life, but mostly because we lost our sweet Pearl back in March and I just couldn't seem to bring myself to post here about it.

It's been a few months now since she passed and I still miss her every single day. I have a feeling I am always going to miss my sweet puggie. But I am so grateful for the time we got to spend together. That darling pug was my first dog as an adult and I could not have asked for a better companion and friend. I never knew how much you could love a dog until I got Pearl.

I'm also grateful that though she had some health issues in the past few years, she was relatively healthy until the very end. I'm so glad we got to spend the last winter together. We had fun together up until the last few days when her illness got severe.

RIP my darling Pearl. My life was made better because you were in my life and you will always be in my heart.

An oldie but not a goodie

Well, I was not happy to find this picture of me on mommy's computer. What the heck was she thinking putting a sock on my head?! I can't remember because this picture was taken a very long time ago. Maybe when I was about 5.

I think to make up for such sock abuse, mom should take me out in my sled again. We went out a few weeks ago to the big park, but the snow hasn't been so good lately. So mom, make it snow!!! And then take me sledding.

Helping out a friend

Our dear friend Tweedles had some very serious health issues recently which meant she had to have some scary surgeries. She is doing much better now but her vet bills were very very high. Some very kind ladies - Ann of Zoolatery and Marg of Marg's Animals - have a blog they have set up to help animals in need. They have set up a lovely auction to help raise money for Tweedles' family to help pay for the surgeries she had.

Our new sled!

So Santy Paws brought us a lovely red sled as an early Christmas present. I think it's pretty awesome especially since Mommy gives us treats to sit it in. Here she is coaxing us in:

And guess who was the good girl and stayed in the sled while Mommy pulled it? Me!!! So I guess I will be getting more treats.
