My sister and I don't look like we've be scarred this week, but we have.
Mom calls it a "hair dryer" but I call it a torture device. Did you know that thing blows warm air?! And makes a funny noise? And that Mom grabbed me and WOULD NOT let me go? She said she couldn't go to work with me shivering like that so she held me while I was trying my hardest to get away until my furs was dried.
Then it was Daisy's turn. Oh, boy. Daisy was too quick and Mom couldn't hold her squiggly body long enough to get her furs completely dried. But my silly sister did not have to be dried completely because she wasn't shivering. She was just her regular goofy self.
I tell you, if Mom tries that thing on me ever again, I am going to scream.
I think this guy in the purple should write a song about us and the things we have to go through.
We hope all our friends have a good weekend without baths or blow dryers!
Oh dear you poor girls. We hate baths too mom and dad just rub us down with towels, and then they pug our coats in the dry so we can wear them and get a little warm. You are lucky your mom wants you fresh and clean
ReplyDeleteI am afraid that I will be getting a bath tomorrow. It has been whispered over and over at the house all week. DOOM!!! But I won't, I repeat WON'T be subjected to that hair dryer thingy! Thanks for the warning!

Oh Pearly, I am so sorry you had to go through that! If that device doesn't teach a pug to hold a shiver in then I don't know what would.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Good one, honey! :D
ReplyDeleteOh gosh- the hair dryer monster is scarys. I had a bath today- but mom just toweled me, and then I sat by the heater.
ReplyDeleteI am glad your shivers went away, and now you can forget about that nighmare for a long time!

I'm sorry you were scared by the beast!
ReplyDeleteMom uses one of those things on her fur, but not us. No way! But then again, we don't really get baths unless we roll in poop or something.
ReplyDeleteoh my word the heat gun monster is nutty

Our oldest pugs have lost their hearing so after a bath they let us blow dry them, they have come to love it. They even let us vacuum them with the brush attachment!
ReplyDeleteOhmDaisy, I love the hair dryer. I wait for it. Mom calls it comb out blow out time. I'm the only one though, those other two aren't as comfortable being pampered! Give it another try, you might like it!
ReplyDeleteMom has done that to us before too! At first we barked at it cuz of the funny noise and it kinda looked like a gun. Then it was warm and nice feeling, cuz I get the shivers too. But it's still fun to bark at. Bol.

Oh dear, poor Pearl! I hope you know that Mommy just wanted the best for her sweet little Pearl!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm sorry to say that lately Bennie has been....somewhat....how to say it politely...STINKY! (Maybe that wasn't so polite.) But anyhow, he hates the hair dryer, too. And yes, he does have to get blown dry.
Love,
Martha and Bennie
