Pearl here.
Today Mommy told us we had to go to the groomer's to get our nails done and we said, "No thanks. We'll just sit here together." (even though I really don't like sitting in the same bed as my sister, sometimes a pug's gotta do what a pug's gotta do)
Mommy didn't listen. We had to go and get tortured anyway. At least we got treats and a nice new stuffie guy for Christmas!

Snow what
Daisy here!
So the other day, I was pretty worrieds as you can see by my face here.
Can you guess? It's the park! And it was about a million degrees below zero! Even though I have a very thick coat and my body was nice and warm, my little paws got cold on the snow so Mom picked me up and took me back to the road. Whew. Much better.
Mom says she wishes I'd wear little booties and I say, "Mom, you're a crazy lady. No way am I wearing booties."
But I would like a nice little sled. Santa? Are you listening?

Mom & Dad got me all ready and we took a drive. But where were we going?
I had to keep an close eye out especially when Dad took a detour and stopped at the grocery store (I got to sit on Mom's lap while we waited! That was pretty exciting because they always make me sit in the back with my seat belt on.)
Then finally, we drove here:

Cloud nine
Daddy couldn't believe Mommy came home with another bed for me the other day. He said we already have too many, but Mommy saw this and couldn't resist. I have pretty much been in this bed since she brought it home. Dad calls it the lifeboat or dinghy but I call it "Cloud Nine".

Pointy buildings and scary fish
Hello! Pearl here.
Can you tell where we were last week?
Toronto! Daisy and I didn't get to see this pointy building that costs about a thousand dollars to take to the top.
But we did enjoy the place we rented while there. Well, I was enjoying it on my own:
While we were relaxing Mom and Dad went see these guys at the new aquarium (Dad has talked about getting an aquarium. I sure hope he never gets fish like this for it - there will be no kibble left because you can tell by just looking at these two that they are piggies)
Mom really liked the jellyfish display. I think, what's the big deal? It glows and it's stringy. Hmmm...maybe it's good to eat though, right?
Next time, maybe we will go with Mom and Dad to that aquarium and I'll push Daisy into the shark tank. heehee That would teach her not to steal my blankie space!

Until Daisy snuggled up onto my space. Good grief. Look how big she looks - a big GOOF that is.
I had to tell Mom to put me in the bed where Daisy won't go.

We have the worst secretary in the whole world
So Pearl here after like 3 billion years. I don't know what the heck our secretary (aka Mom) has been doing these past months but it sure was not giving us lots of treats to stuff our little bellies with so that we gain 10 pounds. And it wasn't updating our blog. Sheesh.
Since our last post, we've gone through a few seasons and now we have our first snow. We kind of like it but we also need to stay warm so that's what we're doing. Right near the kitchen just in case Mom decides to feed us early.

Goodbye dear friend
It is with a heavy heart today that we say goodbye to our dear friend Coco. We started blogging around the same time Coco and his mom, Sandra did so they have always been part of part of our blogging world. We loved hearing about Coco's adventures in south Florida, and loved seeing the pictures of his cute face.
We are going to miss Coco, but we can only imagine how much his dear family is going to miss him. He was a well loved little puggie who had the best life, but it is still hard to say goodbye.
Coco, we love you! RIP sweet baby.

I protest!
Pearl here.
Look what has been happening to me this week. My creepy little sister has been smooshing up next to me in MY beds. Harumph. Here is the proof of my awful life:
Mom says these pictures might be proof that I am getting soft in my old age and don't actually mind sharing my beds with Daisy, but don't believe a word she says!!!!

Fartcake and spring
Hello!
Daisy's here!
So Mom called me a fartcake yesterday because I wouldn't listen when it was time to go the vet's. Geesh Louise!!!! I means, it was the VET'S!!!!! I had to get my anal glands squeezed like I do every few weeks. Mom had put my collar and harness on but I jumped into my beds and wouldn't budge. Mom had to airlift me out of my beds and then I went with her.

now my sister would like to say a few words to spring...
because it's not really spring as it's freezing colds out!
And to everyone else, Happy St. Paddy's Day one day early!

My goofy sister
Pearl here.
So hope no one out there has a goofy sister like I do. I mean, look what I have to put up with! She likes to sit beside me - nearly stealing my sun. Geeshers. I have to admit she doesn't look like such a goofball in this picture:
But good gravy, look at her here:
She can't even keep her eyes open when she's having her picture taken.
Still, I guess it's not so terrible if she sits beside me in the winter. She is kind of warm.
