Happy Birthday Pearl!

I can't believe my baby is 9 years old today! I still remember the day we went to meet her at the breeders. She wiggled and wiggled. I thought she was the cutest thing I'd ever seen. That night, when we brought her home and she was running around like a maniac, I was so nervous I'd step on her. She was so small! I had no idea what to do with a puppy but pretty soon I figured things out.

Getting Pearl was one of the most important and wonderful things I've done in my life. I'm so grateful to have such a loving, adorable pug. Happy birthday baby!

(sucky Mommy is crying after writing this - LOL)

I Wuv to Wick!

Daisy here! I've always loved to wick (Mommy's translation: lick) but lately, I've started wicking Daddy in the morning especially when he sits down the carpet to play with me and my sista. Here I am, wicking like mad. He has very tasty feet.

In other puggy news, me and Mommy are going to Pugstock today to help raise money for poor rescue and puppy mill puggies. Since Pearl doesn't like big gatherings with other dogs, she and Daddy are going over to help our friends build their pool.

Wick you later!
Daisy

Scary Bag

Scaredy pug Daisy here. Mommy got a new bag for school and had the nerve to leave it in the kitchen where scary things should never be left.

At first I wouldn't even go into the kitchen because I could see the bag and all its scariness from the hallway but then Daddy coaxed me in. This is as close as I got after Daddy said it was okay (which it clearly wasn't!!!)

When I saw Mommy with her camera, I ran toward her PAST THE BAG and she backed up and moved the other way. That meant I had to run past the bag for the second time. As you can see the bag nearly GOT me. I'm not sure what it would exactly do once it got me, but it would be bad, believe me.
